Carol Ross is a career coach, entrepreneur, national speaker and writer who leveraged nearly two decades of corporate experience into a successful, multi-faceted business of her own. Most recently, she has developed career development programs to help talented and competent professionals be even more successful in a competitive and increasingly digital marketplace. These include networking workshops that go beyond basic knowledge of networking to mastering the principles that maximize networking effectiveness, and information products to help promote one's personal brand on social media.
Known as the Whole Brain Coach, she is an engaging presenter who combines left-brain analytical thinking with right-brain story-telling. Carol has shared insights with more than 100 associations, companies, workshops and other groups, including Texas Conference for Women and at national conferences for the International Coaches Federation, Net Impact and the Juvenile Arthritis Foundation.

A frequent contributor to HR.com, Carol has highlighted the importance of networking in an article for WorldWIT (Women in Technology) and in career blogs for McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas and the Northwestern Alumni Association (NAA). Also for NAA, Carol has regularly interviewed celebrated alumni, including The New York Times best-selling author Dan Pink; award-winning author Catherine Kaputa, and former CEO turned management professor, William J. White.

A former Bell Labs engineer, Carol is a graduate of Northwestern University and lives in Colorado with her husband and their two sons.
